Visit to Monte da Casteleja

The visit to Monte da Casteleja, a local wine producer, located in Sargaçal, only 5 minutes driving from the Marina, took place on the 8th november.

The visit was coducted by Guillaume Leroux, owner and viticultor responsible for the entire production process, from chosing the grape varieties to the wine bottling itself, done in the winery.

About 22 of Marina de Lagos’ guests participated, and were able to find out more about the history of wine in the Algarve, the vineyard, the cellar, the whole production process and, also, the wines produced at Monte da Casteleja.
